Wordpress is an open-source content management system. It is written in PHP paired with various database management languages like MySQL, SQLite and many more. Wordpress was developed by American developer Matt Mullenweg and English developer Mike Little in the year 2003. WordPress developed as a blog-publishing system but with time it developed web content including forums, media galleries, membership sites, and many more. Wordpress is installed on web servers for its functioning. Wordpress includes a plugin architecture and a template system. Wordpress has become today's factory for webpages by storing various content and allowing users to create and publish their web pages.
One of the most popular e-commerce systems is Magento. Magento is an open-source written with the help of the Zend Framework of PHP. The Magento was first released on March 31, 2008. Magento provides forms the base of online stores nowadays. Magento provides a flexible shopping cart system for an online merchant. Magento also maintains the content and functionality of online stores. Relational database management systems like MySQL or MariaDB along with PHP together form the base of Magento. Magento is object-oriented programming designed on the model–view–controller architecture.
